Edgy-ish concept work kinda in relation to my side project 'The last Alicorn'. I thought to myself, what if Celestia failed in defeating say, Discord. As a result she was drained of magic, left beaten, bruised and dethroned. As the ultimate discrace to the de-throned ruler of equestria, and eldest remaining true Alicorn, she was viciously stripped of her wings by the Draconequus. This left her with a nasty wound on either side of her whithers, ironically kinda resembling her iconic sun embelum that was previously used to represent her. Her sparkle gone, wings brutishly removed from her and almost all of her magic drained from her, she retreated into the mountains away from her old realm in disgrace. As she trekked, the rising sun taunted her with the reminder that the power she once wielded was now in possession of a member of the one species that had plagued the now functionally extinct ancient Alicorns. In this alternate universe, her sister luna had been banished to the moon after their defeat by Discord, thinking it was a fitting was to excersise his newfound power. In this universe Twilight would rally a group of likeminded ponies in search of the elements that discord had nonchalantly scattered round equestria after defeating Celestia and luna. In their quest they would solidify their bonds and attempt to locate the old Alicorn ruler, Celestia. In turn they would free her sister and as a united front, face off once again against the Draconequus in an attempt to return order.

Is it the most fleshed out alternate universe? Nope lol, its just a bit of fun but I might do more with it at some point, who knows
