Description
This is another photo I found in my archives from last year, featuring a display of one of my vibrantly colored Tulipa tschimganica in the evening sun. This wild tulip species is native to the Chimgan mountain range in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Due to their origin, the bulbs need some dry rest in summer, but otherwise they are fairly easy to grow.
