"Why?"

They greeted his little brother as they arrived. They hugged him and only him. Why can't they see that he wants their hugs too? Yeah, he might be older but he also longed for those tight hugs and warm hellos.

"Why only him?"

He continued to look at them but then a thought popped out and so he quickly took a piece of paper from his backpack. He just got the highest score in their History exam. This usually got his parents' attention. A small smile crept into his face as he remembered the sleepless nights he went through just to get that perfect score.

As he was about to show it to his parents, his younger brother beat him to it. Just like him, he took a piece of paper from his bag and showed it to their parents.

"Mommy! Daddy! Look!"

He stopped from his tracks because he went back to looking at them. He heard them praised his brother's achievement. Ryu's score was not the highest nor a perfect score but their parents' praised him as if it was a perfect score. Before he gets too jealous again, he turned his back at them and walked away, leaving the piece of paper on the floor.

"I'm so sick of this."

Here's my second entry for contest. This time I drew Ryu and Raleigh,because I kinda like their personalities and background and because my demn RaiKim heart can't seal my feelings for their babies.

My headcanon for this is that before being a rebel, Raleigh studied so hard just to get high scores so that he can get his parents' attention. He's some sort of a whiz. And also, I was thinking that before Ryu got his blue highlights, his hair would be down.
