Anywho... very, very, very, very, very*hiccup*,very old picture I drew during my Ed, Edd, and Eddy craze. Actually it's more than that. It's the cover to an old fic I wrote but never posted as well.

The Deep End

As if starting your Freshman year of highschool wasn't enough, Sarah has found herself in quite a pickle. The Kankers want back at Eddy, who over the years has become worse in his old habit to be the center of attention. So who do they turn to? The girl with the loud mouth.

The Kanker Sisters have decided they had enough of Eddy's antics, even when they hadn't done a thing to the boys, and came to the conclusion that it's time for a little payback. So after cornering Sarah, knowing she use to fight with Eddy herself when she was younger, May and Marie(Lee was sick that day) force her compliance. But it's been years since Sarah has seen anyone older than she and Jimmy in the cul-de-sac due to their Highschool Career keeping them occupied, and Sarah is poked fun at from Jimmy because she's 'lost her touch'. The girl can't yell like she use to, lose her temper as quick, and there for is just not as intimidating. Though she still packs quite a punch.

And the Kankers are still scarier.

So Sarah turns to Jimmy, who has conned the con artist quite a few times, so he could help her think up a few ways to put up her end of the deal. But in the long run it also consists of getting Double D and Ed to fall in love with Marie and May. And eventually Lee would like to get her hands on Eddy as well...

...there's just one problem with that though.

After a few twists and turns in her scheme, Eddy becomes suspicious of the Kankers and turns to Sarah to see what they're up to. So Sarah's now playing both sides of the board and eventually, to her dismay, falls in love with Eddy in the long run.

So this was in fact a SarahxEddy fic.

And that summery left out a lot. It gets pretty dramatic... I wrote most of it, but it's up to eight chapters and not even halfway through. It's not bad so far though.

If you read all of that you deserve a prize. *.*

Last but not least, symbolism in the picture.

The Deep End is about Sarah's life going downhill the moment she enters Peach Creek High. She's without Jimmy due to her being a year older and him still being in Middle School. As she gets tied up in this mess and has lost her ability to fight her way out due to maturing, she's introduced to the 'darker' side of teenage life. Though it doesn't play a huge role she will be eventually introduced to parties, drugs, and alcohol. Doesn't mean she'll do any of them, but she will be surrounded by it and that can change her as well... I think...

Anyway, notice how May and Marie are the only two making physical contact with Sarah? It's because they're the two who truly make the deal with her. Lee is off to the side, still there, but not as involved. And Sarah is fighting her way to reach the surface in the picture, just as she will be fighting her way out of the deal when she realizes how deep she's gotten in this mess.

I may post the fic later. It's actually not that bad. and if you read everything, thank you so much! It was a lot to read and I normally don't type so much. Thanks again and hope you enjoyed!!
