Mary: Good luck with that. I have a similar problem. Before Deacon killed them both, he interrogated my mother. Something about a map. I need to find out why. So, finding Deacon will kill two stones with one bird.

Billy: You know, I got involved with an interdimensional pirate lord, thanks to my best mate turning on me after I stuck my neck out for him and got myself arrested by the Armada. He's just jealous cuz Sarah was taken.
Sarah: Samuel Barclay, don't even get me started on him! He tried to force a Monquistan crew mate of his to give him three wishes. One, he wished to be to be an immortal withdoctor of immense power. That ones fine by me, but then he wished I had feelings for him that I didn't have for the Captain!
Billy: First wish got him cursed to burn off his skin every night and become a hellfire burning skeleton cursed pirate. The next twist was the best, Sarah got feelings of hate for him that she did not feel for me. He really should have been more precise with his words.
Sarah: Then in frustration he wishes for the Captains soul to be lost to the Devil!
Billy: He never said which Devil. Turns out theirs a ship called the Ash Devil, now renamed Saint Elmo's Incursion...it can only sail in Avernus because of a curse...except of course if the ship were to travel in other dimensions, then it can go anywhere it wants. I redsigned it, and it be perfect. I think however its former captain, who has more than enough resources to have other ships...is using me and other pirates in a plan to rule the seas...

Me: I noticed that in Marleybone, some foxes have the last name Tennant, and I saw one with the first name, David. I just had to make an oc by that name. Not to mention the frogs look like tiny tim in the muppet christmas carol, which is actually a name possibility too. I found so many references to things I like.
Ratbeard: Like that Barrel of custard and fish sticks!? Who eats that rubbish!?

Me: Yeah, I've noticed that! It's as if that entire universe is a reference to pop culture in ours.
Mary: Pets also eat fish fingers & custard. Understandable, since pets will eat almost anything....
Me: Yeah, I thought about that too. I actually suspect that they look like that under their masks. And Daleks would never show mercy just because they had the wrong person! XD

Billy: Is this about that other mouse girl?
Me: Yes, and the difference between your Sarah, and their Sarah, is this Sarah has minor changes in life and personality where the undefined areas in her backstory are...and the huge part which is that she is the avatar of another mouse girl, and their Sarah is not. That is why Subodai on their side is not dead, or maimed. We don't even know if their Sarah has the same standards as yours.
Billy: ...

Mary: Is that a threat? The fact that you've admitted to being a pirate automatically puts you on my list. Pirates are evil, selfish, and greedy. Unless you're one of them pirates who aren't really pirates, they just call themselves that. Your only saving grace is the fact that you hate the Armada as much as I do.
Ratbeard: Hey, not all pirates are evil and selfish!
Mary: You were a pirate. Now you use your skills for good.
Me: Mary's been on edge lately too. Irritable Mary plus irritable Billy is not a good combination, I'm observing. They can't actually hurt each other, can they? because of the interdimensional subplot thing? Or does that only apply to the doppelgangers?

Billy: The Armada is the greater evil. However, you don't know a thing about me. Yes, I've started several wars. Only one of em I regret. Although it did gain me my long awaited revenge, but still. I share my gold with those who deserve it, selfish...not always, but yes, I suppose. Although you dun know how I deal with most people. And for the love of mercy, I'm not evil. And lass, I hold a rare treasure that gives me power over fire.

Billy: Honestly, she just calls me that. And I'm irritatin eh? Yer a little bit of a loudmouth, might want to work on that. Two of them were revolutions, the other one was not my idea, but ended up gettin Rooke killed. Not all pirates are ruthless, some just live free and don't follow under any banner but their own. I mainly raid enemy ships, but occasionally I have to raid other ships. I only kill when I have to. But the neat thing is, I don't have to answer to anyone for my life. I am my own man, missy, I do what I do. You'll hear tales of the nice Captain Ashburn, but some people will speak of me in harsh whispers. People are fickle, they'll say nice things about you, but they can be just as big of a problem as an asset. Its when the people start to push and push that I start to get angry. Once the lines are crossed, yer closer to the black spot.
Me: In other words, he'll go easy and give people chances, but if they keep at it, he gives them ire by degrees.
Sarah: I really don't like this one.
Billy: Oh, an try not to upset me wife. And don't go pickin fights with cursed pirates who've seen it all.

Mary: Very well then. You sound a lot like me. I try to be a hero, but I wind up doing things to make undeserving people upset. Sometimes it's because I'm swindled, other times I'm going about it the wrong way. I adamantly deny that I am a pirate because I don't want there to be any confusion as to whether I am friend or foe. And for your information, I've seen a lot too. I may not know all about you, but you don't know everything about me either. It's a two-edged sword, honey.

Rose: He took the form of a squirrel named Zego, and we lived a life together. Then I find out who he really is, and the adventure is only just beginning.
Me: Half my life was spent warring with Badrang for Rose's sake.
Nyx: That was the least of his crimes, we find out more in my story.
Me: Nyx is his daughter, the really ironic part is some of his children are going to be adopted by his arch enemy XD
