just saw the new episode of what if. (remember, just going to be new episodes coming out every day until New Year's Eve) anyways, this episode is called What if... Peter Quill fought Earth's Mightiest Heroes?

in this universe, Yondu picks up Peter Quill, but instead of having a change of heart and kept him as a ravager. He did deliver on his bargain with Ego. and Peggy Carter and Howard Stark formed a team to take Quill down after he leveled all of Manhattan. and that team insists of Wendy Larson, a Kree soldier, King T'Chaka, the Black Panther, Bill Foster, aka Goliath. (that's what he was called in the comics) Hank Pym, aka Ant-Man. (the original Ant-Man from the comics.) and Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier.

Thor later joined cause Quill destroyed Asgard and took Ego's seed. and Quill explained to Hope, Hank's daughter that what he did was not really his fault. it was his dad Ego. He can hear his voice in his head and he controls him. so Hope let's him go to Missouri and explains to her dad that Peter needs help, and they suggested (except for Thor and Winter Soldier) that Hope's right. he could be a big chance against Ego, if they talked to him.

later, Ego arrived on Earth to get his seed back, and after Hank talked to Peter, (and Bucky didn't shoot Peter) everyone was getting out matched by Ego's power until Quill and Ant-Man showed up. Quill placed the seed inside him and destroyed a piece of his father. saving the world.

unfortunately, Earth may be saved, but not Ego. his planet is still out there, and Thor is going to avenge Asgard but destroying Ego the living planet. and the heroes suggest coming with him. and it ends with everyone in a walking scene, and including Peter Quill, Hope Van Dyne and their new pet cat Goose, they're going to stop Ego. and that's where it ends.

I'll call them... the Avengers of the Galaxy
