Isabelle's victory over Richard last year... Was unfair. Chad cannot find peace knowing the memories are still haunting him.

One winter night, Chad was getting upset. He texted Isabelle to come meet him at the park for something important. But she was with Courtney, but he didn't care.

A few minutes later, Isabelle and Courtney walked to the park and found Chad sitting on a bench.

"Hey Chad. What's up." Isabelle asked.

"Isabelle, we need to talk." Chad replied.

"What is it?"

"Look, I know the year is almost done, and it's been a crazy ride for you."

"Heck yeah. I defeated my first supervillain Mayura and saved the multiverse, I killed Richard and Juri for turning into a freak, I save the world from the Pony of Shadows by freeing Canterlot City and Equestria from the shadow invasion. Defeated Dark Volpina. Yeah, this year has been awesome for me." Isabelle said with excitement. "Why you asked."

"Listen, I know you have gotten a lot better of being a superhero. But I have to be honest with you." Chad took a deep breath. "Before you, Richard tortured me. I was a damaged experiment just like you and the others. And after I escaped, all I have were nightmares if Richard torturing me. I swore one day I would kill him with my bare hands. And that's what I did." Chad explained.

"That doesn't make sense. I killed Richard, and Juri." Isabelle was confused.

"I know. While you were in Paris fighting Mayura, I went to Oz Industries, to kill Richard, onto to find out he was a life model decoy. I was satisfied until he pulled a fake on me." Chad said. "I would never stop until Richard is dead by my hands." Chad said. "But instead, you killed him. And that's not fair."

"Not fair?" Isabelle asked.

"Chad, you wanted to be the 'only' one to kill Richard?" Courtney asked.

"Yes. I swore it myself." Chad answered. "I'm the one he tortured. He did experiments in me. And I wanted to hear his screams. After Isabelle killed him. The nightmares didn't go away."

"Chad, this isn't only about you! I was torture too, so was Sasha, Daisy, Laser. Not everything is about you. They motivated me to make Richard pay,I broke Richard's heart, so I can expose him and his sister for the monsters they truly are." Isabelle said as she started to get angry.

"But I wanted to stop him. I took your case about finding your mother's 'killer'. But instead, you meddled in affairs that you weren't supposed to be in!" Chad was starting to get angry. "Richard is meant to die by my hands. My blades. My flames! Not you, not Daisy, not Sasha, not even your dad!"

Courtney gasped. "So... What your saying is... Isabelle wasn't supposed to be the one who kills Richard. Only you?" She asked. Chad nodded. "Chad, you don't get to decided something like that. You are not a god. Your just a vigilante and can't accept the fact that nothing can't go your way. Isabelle wanted to find the truth, Ladybug helped her by giving her a new purpose in life, and if it weren't for her... I may never be reformed."

"Ladybug shouldn't have given her the Miraculous, she shouldn't have gone to Paris. She... She doesn't need to be a hero." Chad said. "this was my mission. And I'll never find piece now that he's dead."

"Chad, I wanted to kill myself in Paris." Isabelle said. "I despised what Richard did to me. But instead, I tried to fight a sentimonster, and Ladybug saved me and gave me this. If I'd just ignore it... I would be dead drowning by now, and my dad would hang himself cause he was alone. This isn't all about you Franco!"

"Well, what am I supposed to do?" Chad asked.

"Nothing. It's clear to me that you don't care about my destiny as superhero. You left me no choice. We're threw." Isabelle said.

"What?" Courtney gasped.

"I lost so much from that bastard and I only killed Cirreux and when you took my chances of revenge against my enemy I can’t find peace now!" Chad exclaimed.

"What your saying... Is selfish." Isabelle pointed out in disgrace.

"I’m selfish you’re kidding me right, you don’t what I been through and I regret that I saved your life I should left in those chemicals. Fine, we're done! Have a nice life Isabelle." Chad said as he left his ex girlfriend and his beginning to feel his heart breaking but he ignores it.

"Come on Isabelle, let's go home. Some new years this is going to be. You don't need that jerk."

And thus... Isabelle and Chad... Broke up
