And what's wrong with JJ Abrams? The guy made the Star Trek movies since 2009 and gave us The Force Awakens and he's gonna' be back for Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker, he had no involvement with Episode 8 because he was just a producer. I really hoped this was Spider-Man 4 believe me and I was disappointed too, but I'm willing to give JJ and his son a chance with Spider-Man since I like his work with Star Trek and Star Wars.

I was really hoping it was gonna be a Sam Raimi Spider-Man 4 comic adaptation. Considering that is being highly requested, it still is very possible that it could definitely happen. Also I wouldn’t go as far as to quite Spider-Man comics just because this ended up not being what you wanted (plus this is only a one time thing anyway) .
