Seriously, Quill was someone who found out that his father murdered his mother, was going to use him to destroy the universe, had his actual father figure die in his arms and now found out that thanos, an abusive purple scrotum, killed the woman he loved with the same excuse Ego used for why he killed his mother. By saying that "they had to" and acting sad.

Strange could've also hacked his arm off with a portal, Thor could've aimed for the head, Wanda could've let vision kill himself sooner but didn't because they act like humans. Strange can't truly think straight when so much is on the line, Thor wanted Thanos to fucking suffer for killing his friends and brother and not end him quickly and Wanda didn't want to lose the man she loved.
Humans are flawed and imperfect creatures. The reason the MCU is so great is because the characters act like us. If someone said to your face "I kill you mother(or girlfriend)" when you're already under so much stress and grief, tell me...would you be in full control of your body at that moment? I once shattered a plate on the ground out of rage and frustration. It was stupid and I could've hurt myself but I couldn't stop myself either. I was so full of anger and other emotions that my mind was telling me that I had to break something and that's all it said.Β
The fact that the fandom is persecuting a man for having a human reaction, one that many who have experienced trauma have, is frankly absolutely disgusting.

You know... a long time ago... my family had a little pup name Mina. She was so sweet. She had he cutest yelp. But we had her for a short time... one day... she ate a dead bird 2 days later... she died. My sisters were crying. I cried the most. Mina died at a young age we buried her and it was more sad.
