My theory of Jack going aHome and Ashi coming with him did come true... But... since Jack killed Aku in the past. Ashi was never born.
When Jack and Ashi were about to be married. She faded away... Aku's dead... And she never existed. I knew the ship wouldn't work. This was the only thing I was wrong about in my theroy...
Goodbye... Ashi.

Genndy Tartakovsky's ending doesn't make any sense. If Ashi never existed, then how did Jack go back into the past to kill Aku since it was through Ashi's powers of time traveling that Jack went back in time in the first place? Genndy's ending contradicts itself royally!

The whole ending with ashi is the only thing that left me unsatisfied with the ending to the series, it was all beautiful up to this point, then this happened and left gaping plot holes

What about the theories that Ashi was the ancestor of Cricket Girl? Put Cricket Girl's hair and Ashi and they do resemble each other a little bit.

It doesn't make any sense! Ashi should still exist in the future, but born to a different father! Her MOM is still alive, just not as a worshiper of Aku!
