This is really great. I'm not very good at digital manipulation like this... and often find that it is too heavy-handed and unsubtle. However, you've totally convinced me of your skill. Before I saw the heading, I thought this was a drawing.
Do you have a link to the workflow for this kind of manipulation? I find it breathtaking. Any explanations, of course, would be greatly appreciated!

I would love to give you some tips on how to do this, it is actually quite simple... You put a texture over a image that you want to use...(Choose a texture image, you can find it in DeviantArt Resources, then you just make it to OVERLAY in the blending setting of a layer) Plus you use a lot of dodge and burn tools and Just manipulate it the way that you want... Colors whatever you like...
On that particular images, I had a stock photo of a tree, which was pretty amazing, added an overlay texture, changed the colors, added the text and the guy walking on the crack thingy...
