She-Ra!!! The Princess of Power! Here's a piece done for Mattel as promotional art. I've seen this printed huge above their booth at San Diego Comicon this year, and also exclusively in a Gallery show at Toy Tokyo in NYC. Pretty wild!
Digital paints by the ultra talented man they call, Doe!
BTW, I JUST JOINED INSTAGRAM! [link]
Hope you like it!

BEAAAAUTIFUL version of She-Ra Alvinlee/Doe!!! Β I am a HUGE She-Ra fan and that pose, you've captured her all her glory. She looks so empowered and strong, that way She-Ra should always be! ^^
Thanks for sharing your pic with us guys, its fantastic!

They really should've made a new series for her like they did for He-Man and Thundercats.

Hi very nice job but if I may have an observation, I would say her right leg (the one we see on the left on the picture ^^ ) has an almost impossible position in the global stance she has : it's like it (her leg) is totally turned aside as her body is in face (sorry for my bad english, but i guess you understand what I mean)

I love the painted look of this piece. You and "Doe" make a great team and I'd love to see more from you two. Who is "Doe" by the way and does he have an account here? I'd love to check out more color work like this.

Her leg looks dislocated! But other than that, awesome.

I think that's the colorist and not the line artist's fault. If you look closely the line art looks like she's just got her leg pointed to the side a bit, which works. But the color work kind of made it look like it was slightly turned around a bit more. So that instead of looking at the side of the leg, it looks like we're looking at more of the back of the leg. I wouldn't blame Alvin for that, I think the colorist probably was just in a hurry and wasn't paying as close attention to the leg angle as he could have. Other than that though, I think he did an awesome job on the colors and his painted style really goes quite well with Alvin's lines!

For a 1980s girl hero character, She-Ra's original design still translates really well in cool modern art styles . She looks great!
