WOW, I am so excited to have mine and Kia Lola's 'Final Hour' featured as a DD!!!

It's a good work indeed, but the idea itself isn't very innovative. Ophelia, which was already mentioned, is quite obvious, but the work also reminds me of Nick Cave's video for "Where The Wild Roses Grow" ([link] ) - probably inspired by the Ophelia painting as well.

that's bone chilling. i rarely see macabre photos that i like, if any at all. a lot of them turn out cheesy, specially with all the artifice and make up work, this however is a great exception. the simplicity and composition, together with the concept and natural lighting make it very realistic. it's like a scene from a movie...i'm trying to think of that movie that i saw which reminds me of this... great work anyways! congrats on the DD

this reminds me of a painting I saw in artclass.. but it is turned the other way. and I think it is called the "suicide" or something like that. it had a story about a maided not finding her love I think..
then she too wore a white dress, laid in water among the green flowing among her.
*shrug* old painting.

Normally I don't like photos that are, well, macabre (no pun intended) but this is very well done. There are so many of these that are just sooo cliche ("Hey! There's some water! Lie down in it!") that when I see one that is obviously the collaboration of real artists then, and only then, does it become art.
PS: I also know what type of elements you had to endure, so that heightens my respect for this even more.
