... 1 1/2 days photoshoping.....Please tell me what you think of the style.
And, is it just me... or the official artwork since MS4 is way to friendly and happy to match the real mayhem and psychotic destruction in the game?

While your art style is awesome, there is one thing that bothers me about this piece. Tarma and Eri are both Japanese. Your art, as exceptional as it is, feels a little off. But besides that, very well done!

Great picture. Their poses really reflect their attitude. I was expecting Eri's pose from the original Metal Slug 3, though. That pose of her in the game look like as if she have had a really fearful time being aducted by the Mars people and how emotionally weak she can be between the two girls even though Fio is the 'weak' one. Other than that, great job.
p.s. Fio may be the crowd's favorite but to me, Eri all the way.

I agree with you. In MS 1, 2, 3, the art style direction is something between funny, bloody, and hyperrealistic, now it's just "friendly"

I like it. Looks like the finale to MS3, zlthough you lack the evil guy flying overhead in his stolen ufo. MS4 ruined the series, while 5 wasn't bad, as far as gameplay. MS6 is a revival of Metal Slug, it's as nearly impossible to blast through as MS1 was back in the day. I love it! Story ain't so bad either, although teaming up with the guys who had been abducting isn't huge progress. Mission All Over! Peace Rules!

But it's really nice to see this work, coz' (well it's just my opinion) the style matchs very well with the game' spirit. I mean that mix of crazyness and power which we can find in the game (well at least MS1,2 and 3), and it's rare to find this style ; thanks for keeping it alive through your art
