The briefs are supported by a thin red belt, slightly askew--high on the right hip, low on the left--and bear a bright red, lipstick kiss mark across the right cheek. She also wears black gloves, minus fingertips, adorned with a skeletal outline of the hand on the top side. Red pads and boots, as well as a bandana tied around the right wrist--it's color constantly changes.

Description:
Plucky, punky and funky--those three words beyond all others describe "The Hardcore Heartbreaker" AJ Swann. While naturally a redhead, AJ seems inordinately found of dying her hair--often in shocking colors.

AJ is the daughter of a single mother, the bass player of an alt rock band. She's never met her father--and to be truthful, her mother isn't one hundred percent sure she knows who he might be, either. (LOTS of groupies in those days.) She grew up on the road, traveling up and down the pacific northwest, her home a tour bus. Surrounded as she was by such free spirited, artistic folks, it is perhaps hardly surprising that AJ would grow up to be a devout non-conformist with an intense dislike for all forms of authority. It's also perhaps not surprising that such an individualistic young child might draw a lot of attention from other kids, not all of it good. And so AJ quickly learned how to take care of herself.

When she was 10, her mother finally left the band, settling down back home in Vancouver--where she met a man who would eventually becomes AJ's adopted father. Unlike most of the men in her mother's life to that point, who either ignored AJ or talked down to her and treated her like a child, he treated her as a person--and as a result, he and AJ bonded almost instantly. That man was a modestly successful independent professional wrestler, and soon Swann started learning the trade from him.
Though drawn to FAWN by its reputation as a place not overly burdened by rules and regulations, AJ does possess a firm sense of what SHE considers right and wrong--and she will stand up for anything and anyone who falls on the right side, and vehemently oppose anyone who doesn't. Confident without being cocky, she often wins over fans with her outgoing spirit and gritty determination. While on the small side, one thing AJ has going for her is a resilience that borders on the remarkable. The girl has a way a way of digging down deep, and finding a way to fight back when all seems lost. One can never be fully confident in writing AJ Swann off in any battle.
