Description
Spatter the stars,douse their luminosity,
with our amneotic retch,
and keep also in mind,
the stampede of clouds,
from dusk's predatory sky.
Leave thy gown a dark pool at thy feet,
I yearn musky valleys that no man hath seen,
the chill keen of stars,
over yew and deep wooded ravines.

This is my first released deviantart collab
and i think it turned out well. Started off with the godhanger valley render i originally churned out last week ( [link] ) except i fixed up some of the bugs from that initial image, including fixing the triangulation problems. That fixed version was sent to *Naithin , who in turn did the space scene above, which from my point of view, looks astounding The image was then returned, and i have made some alterations to try and make the transition smoother, such as making the earth scene a little more blue 
Anyway, we both hope you enjoy this image, naithin has done incredible work here, and i urge you to go check his gallery for more of the same
He also seems to be in doubt about some of his collab skills, so prove him wrong and show your appreciation appropriately Comments and most especially

I've done the resub to my site now guys, touched up the planet.. Well, redid it actually. Also had to redo the bordering to accomodate the scale needed for prints.

Valley itself looks cool, though the water looks kinda funky. The transition between the sky and space is odd, but whatcha gonna do other than that, I suppose...And the space itself is great, but the planet and all the stuff around it is faunky.

I can see the whole thing at once, just save picture on your hard drive and view it with an image view like ACD See. Zoom out if necessary. And it's very well done.

Well, I retract the previous comment about it being unlikely to see a print of this. Alyn dropped me a note, giving me permission to use my print account to make this available!!! Yay Alyn! Keep a watch on my site, I will make this available over the next day or two. I'm going to fix up the issues with the moon first, and will undoubtedly have to adjust the bordering to fit it to an aspect ratio that is able to be submitted as a print.
But a print is coming!!

I have a prints account, not sure if Alyn does though. But either way, it would be a hard thing to share profits for prints of a collab. So not sure if we'll see a print of this one. :/
This is going to come across as shameless plug, I know, but It isn't the intention of the following.
Anywho, as I say, I have a prints account, and a few that I've got on offer for print. However, I don't consider them to be that 'great' yet, so I'm not asking you to buy anything at this point, but if you'd be interested in perhaps giving me a watch, and letting me know what you like. The aspects that made you buy the prints you have bought, and what aspects you could see improvement on.
That is a big ask, so no obligations of course, but it would be appreciated. I hope to release another work that I can release for print soon, using what I have learnt over the past series of images I've done.

I could stare at this forever. You two did an amazing job at creating both parts and melding them so well. Some of the blue haze around the planet looks a bit (ok, a lot) like a dragon to me. I'm probably seeing things.

*grins* You wouldn't be completely crazy if you saw a dragon or some such creature in the nebula behind the 'moon' type planet. I've got the nebula I used there up on my site as an older version as my feature image, and it has been commented in past that some can see a creature of sorts from it. And further more, the effect I hoped to create here was that the 'moon' and the backlying nebula was as if it was some sort of creature.
However, the moon, as has been commented on, really needs a whooole lot of work to make it look right, used an older method of planet creation, thinking it'd suit a moon more. And in truth, it does, but I didn't really do it very well here.
I really want a second shot at this image, but I can wait til Alyn and I do something else together, there are a lot of places to improve upon, and I think can do so in the next one.

Just wanted to say thank-you all for the overall warm reception this image has recieved, and thank-you for making this a Deviant Favourite! That is incredible guys. I think Alyn would say the same, but I think it's sleep time over in his part of the world.. Or is it school.. One or the other.
But thanks to those who offered criticisms as well, they're useful, and I'm hoping that Alyn and I can do something like this again. Soon. But better.
