Wont they look like the planets you always have in your artwork?

when you read the planet tutorial itself you will see that the creation of this planet is FAR more sophisticated and involved than regular tutorials.

ok, but what i meant was, the planets you have in your art, don't look that much the same as this planet, i'm not saying the way of making is bad, for i havent seen the tutorial yet, but it looks a bit the same, still, looking forward to it, i really need to learn some space-art instead of terragen

The point about this tutorial is that it opens up so many customisable routes that I could my planets in exactly the same way and come up with something completely different each time. That's the beauty of it. The way I'll be describing isn't the exact way I do my own, it's a slightly modified and simplified way, but the basic techniques, dare I say to a fairly complex level are there. You will see when it's released.
(Btw, no regular planet tutorial I've come across allows you to achieve river effects and land mass colourings like that
