Description This will be deleted, but I want some opinions on where I should go with this. (The download file is 2550 x 3300 pixels)

I finally found the motivation again to work on this. Oddly enough, given the time of year. I think it has something to do with a) gathering the energy to do final portfolios and projects; and b) having something a headache because it was a long day yesterday, which is now over ... it's time for me to go to bed.

The background is a simple gradient with lots of stuff done to it. It's not even the same colors, anymore.

Let me entertain your brain: [link]

Left: Original lineart and first layers of color.
Right: Hair process, veil, and additional color layers. Each color group has it's own layer, and I am working directly on the layers.
Below: Upper body clothing and eyes. They were difficult, and I am still not totally sure I am happy with them. I will leave it to Shadowkitty to decide what she thinks of it.

To the left, I've added a background (or the preliminary for one). Still not exactly sure what I plan on doing with it. I also started the lower body clothes. I'm kinda putting off the jewelry and fur, because I'm not totally sure how I want to go about doing them (the jewelry I have [an] easier time with, the fur on the other hand ... it'll happen.)
The gradient for this page is all the colors I saved to my swatches to work on this piece, mostly copied from Shadowkitty's original piece and darkened or lightened from there.

LOL it turned out great! Though I am going to be picky and say her eyes are Garnet....but then it could be my compy darkening the color...anywho, as noted you make me looook soooo good when you do a work like this in color. Excellent job! Thanks =^.^=

Lol somewhere underneath those layers they used to be garnet at one point. I'll see what I can do with them. Glad you like it!

Well now, this turned out rather different than my coloration. Mine's a bit grittier than yours, but I like 'noise' in my colorations. I will, note, however... her collar is silver. ^.^ I think the eyes turned out better than mine, but then, this was one of the earlier pictures I've done. Still, it's good. ^.^

^_^ To each their own style. I am loooving this method so much. ...Silver? Eck... maybe I'll try it both ways. Haven't gotten there, yet ...

Hey, as long as you like it, that's the way you do it. I was just stating the obvious, as always. ~.^
