Because she is?  I usually draw her in shorts, button down shirts, and outfits like that.  (tomboyish but classy tomboyish, you don't need holy-jeans, mud, and bandaids, to illustrate a tomboy)  She isn't some doodle, she has some history.  You can read a short story from her perspective to gain more insight on her character  -Knowledge- a short story
There was a great swelling inside me.  The rain was filling me up until I overflowed.  The thunder clapped and my mind popped open.  Sound escaped my lips, and the darkness responded with the sound of rain beating on my window.  Something gushed into my mind the instant I woke.  I lost something, but it was instantly replaced.  Words echoed through my hollow dreams.  What did they say?  Something so eager, and so dear.  What words fell through the rain tonight?
“Awaken, spirits reborn into darkness.”  Those were the words echoing so loudly in my mind.  Somehow, even in a small corner of this enormous house that shivers and creeks in the storming winds, somehow something miraculous was revealed to me.  Beyond this giddy excitement that permeates the atmosphere, far away, through sheets of starlight rain, something is happening!  A chill ran through my body.  The walls creaked in tune with the floor.
