Samus flung herself around to see Gandrayda looking straight back at her."How! you're dead..." Samus exclaimed.
She didnt have time to do anything else as Gandrayda moved her arms together, gathered some strange energy that Samus had never seen before and Fired a blot of it into Samus's chest.
Samus was lifted off the floor, she was unable to free herself from the energy that held her in place. It didnt hurt but soon Samus looked down and saw her body begin to disappear.
"What is this! what are you doing to me?" Samus pleaded with her foe as more and more of her body vanished into thin air.
"Don't worry Sammy, i dont want you dead...im just teleporting you back to my master, the one who gave me a second chance to live...after you took my first life away from me" Gandrayda replied, smiling the entire time.
"Teleport? how can you do that!...master? who hiiiiiiiiirrr...nooooooooo" Samus was unable to finish her sentence before her entire body was teleported away, leaving only Gandrayda alone in the ship's cockpit.
"Sorry Sammy, soon your questions will be answered" Gandrayda said before she teleported herself in a ball of blue light.

And now I'm curious as to who the master is.
Samus can't seem to escape here. The best part about this is that she doesn't appear weak or incompetent, it's as if coincidence is conspiring against her and keeping her from finding the ground she needs to fight back.
Gandrayda's mention of death and resurrection places this story as happening after the Prime series, though we still have no idea how long it's been since then. Given her jealousy of Samus way back when, I'm curious to see exactly how consumed she has become since Samus beat her and what she plans to do for revenge.
It's an interesting effect you've got going for teleportation and an interesting psychological twist - whoever wants Samus clearly wanted her to think she had escaped before taking her freedom away from her. I'm curious to see how that plays in the chapters to come.
Also, that last shot of Gandrayda is chilling. Awesome stuff all around, really.
