Samus approached the droid as she knew it was turned off, it proved no threat to her, although she did not like the look of the cannon on one arm and the gun on the other.

"I dont think your little test for me is working all that well Chang" Samus smirked

Back on the bridge, Chang looked at his monitor and laughed at the bounty hunter's arrogance.

"My dear Samus...that's because i havent turned it on yet...ACTIVATE THE DROID!" Chang ordered his men.

Within a split second the motionless droid lifted it's arm towards Samus. Samus froze in shock and puzzlement as the machine came fully alive aiming both its weapons at her.

Samus took a step backwards trying to gain some space between herself and the droid but seconds after turning its guns on its target it opened fire.

Samus jumped backwards, backflipping away from the lazer beams that fired at her. The machine was well armed but quite slow, proving to the nimble Samus's advantage.
