Description So, Shark Week begins sunday, and like every year, I have a very special celebratory artwork. This one has been a long time coming, but of all the scientific illustration I've done, this has got to be the most satisfying.

I really love the Lamniformes group, because, not only does it have my favorite species, but is such a small group, yet has so many of the iconic sharks, like the Basking, Great White, Thresher, Goblin, and Mako.

If you enjoy my scientific illustration, please consider visiting and liking me on Facebook: www.facebook.com/AmandaLevineS… or my Tumblr: amasnatureart.tumblr.com/

My website also has pricing for artwork, if you so choose: amandalevineart.weebly.com/

Nice.  Too bad shark week has turned into a scare tactic and fake documentary event.

Yeah. I'm hopeful they realized their mistakes last year with the stupid Megalodon thing. I doubt it, but I can hope. If nothing else, NatGeo does a shark week the same week, so I'll get my fill somehow. XD
