So, Shark Week begins sunday, and like every year, I have a very special celebratory artwork. This one has been a long time coming, but of all the scientific illustration I've done, this has got to be the most satisfying.

I really love the Lamniformes group, because, not only does it have my favorite species, but is such a small group, yet has so many of the iconic sharks, like the Basking, Great White, Thresher, Goblin, and Mako.
