Wheeee, have a torchic.I know I took liberties with the colours. For some reason whenever I played the game and looked at the torchic sprite, I always thought it had yellow fluff around its neck instead of the wings being yellow :\
Just another quicky painting, about 30 mins done in SAI

Actually I think your first assumption is right; the yellow stuff is just ring of fluff around it's neck, not wings :3
I love the realism by the way! Though I think the beak needs to a little smaller for a bird like torchic.
