A Common Blackbird, Turdus merula, perching on a snow-covered brickwall in my godmother's backyard. That day, I was sitting in the kitchen with a fully-prepared camera and tripod facing the backyard, photographing the birds, and eating lindt while I listened to Celtic music. Just the perfect start to the day. Sadly this is one of the few shots I was satisfied with by the end of the morning.
