My very first ACEO card (KaKAO-Karte) - "Akatsuki"

The card is not open for sale or trade!

Basically, this came to be due to several reasons! o: First of all, I wanted to give ACEO cards a try for quite a while already o: The second reason is that I didn't draw anything for ASB-Fan in ages and Diedead is certainly someone I haven't drawn in a REALLY long time o_o" And the third reason is that we've been to a Babymetal concert (which was amazing by the way) which inspired me to draw this eventually. The sketch and lineart were finished before the concert, the coloring yesterday. Especially the song "Akatsuki" (which you can listen to over here ) played a huge role, here. Hence, also the title! o:

Drawing on such a small scale was something different for sure, but I enjoyed it as it's easier than filling out a whole A4 paper! On the other hand it's also more difficult because mistakes are everything but easy to hide x'D (E.g. she wasn't supposed to look sad and have a neutral expression at first but I messed up with my fineliner. She is literally sad because I messed up. Oops! Let's say that was on purpose <_<") The red moon looks like a red piece of cheese. And the sky. The freaking sky. I messed the colors up greatly for that and erased it at least 3 times until something acceptable was the result x_x" Have you ever tried to erase colored pencils? I think you can imagine how well THAT works... Not a good idea to try and make it more reddish than that! xD Looking back at it, I should haver drawn the rose on her head differently, too
Ohhh well! At least I finally gave ACEO cards a try which was fun and I have a little something for a friend. I think you can occasionally expect more cards from me in the future! ovo
