Tumblr || FurAffinity1/3 cards for an event to make Sonic BOOM themed ACEO/ KAKAO cards, where I will eventually receive three cards from three different artists as well >u< So it's a bit like a surprise-trade! KAKAO cards are as big as trading cards, meaning 6.4 x 8.9 cm or 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Oh, this was drawn at the end of December 2014 btw, I'm just submitting this a bit later because... I don't even know why xD
The first one I chose was Sticks inspired by the episode "My Fair Sticksy", because I loved the scene where she tore her dress off to finally fight Eggman! I just wish that she had rather ripped the dress and kept fighting in that instead of tearing it off completely to fight in her normal outfit, so that is what I tried to draw here. Of course I also added Amy, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles in their bubbles, and of course also with their fancy clothing
This was my first detailed card - compared to all the previous ones I made - so I am especially proud of this one ;o;" Also trying to DO something with a background here instead of keeping it simple! xD I'm just a bit mad that my scanner scanned the top left corner so blurry :I It should be sharp just like the bottom right! Fortunately the problem doesn't occur with further pictures anymore, but I apologize for the blurry part u//u" The original isn't like that!Characters © SEGA

My Fair Lady äh.. Sticksy war auch echt abgedreht. Meine erste Skizze war auch zu dieser Episode, Ich habs dann aber doch verworfen nachdem Ich deinen tollen Beitrag gesehen hab. Auch wenn bei mir Amy Sticks beim ankleiden geholfen hat und nichts mit dieser Szene zu tun hatte.. XD
Kurzum - Ich fand die Klamotten die man den Helden bei dieser Episode gegeben hat echt cool. Besonders Sticks im schicken Schwarzen war ein echter Hingucker! Ich hätte es auch viel cooler gefunden wenn man das so gelöst hätte wie bei deinem Beitrag! Es hätte einfach viel besser gepasst (und es stand Ihr auch verdammt gut!)!
Deine Umsetzung dazu ist echt verdammt genial! Dynamische Pose - mal eben alle anderen Mitglieder der Gang im Hintergrund und vor allem so Szenenbezogen mit den riesigen Luftblasen und den entsprechenden Klamotten. Amy fetzt mich mal dezent weg - sie sieht aus als wolle sie gleich über Sonic herfallen und dieser weiss gar nicht wohin mit seinem Glück! Auch Tails und Knux sind echte Hingucker!
Apropos Hingucker - der Hintergrund ist der Hammer! Ich bin total stolz auf Dich - gerade mit der Teilnahme bei dieser STA bist Du was das betrifft total über Dich hinaus gewachsen. Hier flasht mich die Perspektive so und eben auch der Detailreichtum und die Menge an Charakteren. Echt Hammer! Ich glaube das ist auch definitiv mein Liebling unter deinen Beiträgen! <3

What I found a lot more awkward was her regular shoes were also revealed after tearing off her dress. How could they have been underneath those heels? I mean, why couldn't they just show her barefoot?!

Heh, heh... now you mention it, it would have made more sense for Sticks to strip down her dress instead of her just happening to have her normal clothes underneath!
Even Lara Croft had her "ripped evening dress" outfits in Tomb Raider Legend, when forced to "adapt" her slinky party dress for a gunfight with the Japanese mafiosa...
