Part 1/2 of an ACEO card trade with xKarka ! Sorry you had to wait for a while, but now I can finally work on it ovo When I read that Roo likes boxing and fights, something like this immediately popped into my head! Drawing her was a lot of fun and especially her hair is a blast to draw >u< Hopefully you don't mind that one lose strand in her braided ponytail, but I thought it would fit the theme ovo As for the background, it was meant to be less space-y. But then it looked so empty, so... space it is, again

Aww. She turned out so pretty! I really should get some good colored pencil paper when funds are back to normal, and see about working with my pencils and markers again. I really don't do much in the way of traditional media anymore, but most of my commissions, back when I made it known there was a choice, were always still done in digital, so that is mostly the route I have taken anymore.

What I'd like to do is print more of my line arts and color them with physical media. But that requires being able to afford ink again for my printer, so it's going to have to wait a bit.

I tried the same in the past, but you can usually see whether it was hand-drawn or printed. At elast some people can see it. Personally, I think completely hand-drawn has a nicer touch to it o: Plus, drawing liunes traditionally helps you get over mistakes and making more confident lines o:

Oh, I still do some hand inked...but a lot of times anymore, I worry about messing up a drawing if I ink it by hand. I can do lines just fine...but I don't have room to play aroudn with how I want something to look, as once it's done, it's done.
Plus, I end up doing a lot of adjustments and fixes during my digital inking process. The all of the drawing would still be free hand inked, just digital instead of pen.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if you can still get them anywhere. I only found them unused at my grandparents' house o:
In this particular picture I also sued colroed pencils from Steadtler for shading because they are harder:
