I really disliked my old avatar already and wanted to make a new icon. And I thought, hey, why not actually give my own character some love! uvu Thus, I decided on doing this.But I wanted to go with something SLIGHTLY more complex than just blinking or changing her mouth, which is why she also slightly turns her head into our direction. It probably has a few flaws here and there, but for my first animation that is more than just blinking (and also the first one in ages) I think it's not all that bad o: As I feared the quality suffers a bit from the animation, but it's not all that bad, I think. Could be worse

Ahhh, animating was hard, but fun~ I still don't think I'm making another one anytime soon or if I do, then probably just a sketch. Because that was the most interesting and variating part

So first to begin with, I like the animation itself. I like how you didn't just make her blink but also tried to make her move her head while doing so, which is far more a challenge than just making it blink! I also think you did do a good job with it, though you could have made it even more visible with turning the head all together. For the animation the hair and eyes, as well as the mouth does move. The arm and clothes also do a bit, but when you move your head, everything should move along. Despite that the animation is nice and smooth. I personally enjoy the thicker lineart here, it gives the whole picture more depth and helps with the animation, since it's more obvious to change along the animation. The colouring is done really clean and nice! I love the shine in her hair and in her eyes *-* You could have considered adding white highlights to her closed eyes, but that's more of a style thing I think :3
The background is subtle and not too eye catchy, but gives the avatar a warm feeling and some texture, so I think that is also choosen well by you!
All together I think you did a good job on this, the animation is nice and the colouring is as well :3 It's a nice touch to make the head turn and for it being the first time you did it, it's well done! :3 Keep on animating <3 xD

Ja, ums ein bisschen interessanter zu machen, sollte es etwas mehr als nur ein blinzeln sein o: Der Kopf bewegt sich auch leicht mit (die Nase wandert zusammen mit dem Strich zwischen ihren Augen leicht nach rechts), aber es stimmt schon, dass ich das deutlicher umsetzen könnte o: Das sollte an der Schnauze vermutlich deutlicher werden o.o Jedenfalls danke für den Hinweis ^^

Es ist schon ein bisschen schade wenn eine Animation von einem FanChara kaum Aufmerksamkeit (im Vergleich zu irgendeinem FanArt) bekommt, aber so eine liebe Kritik macht das alles wieder wett! ovo

... But, I like how the line art of her head moves, here - most people would have made the collar completely static, I think. XDD Though, if you make her collar rustle, you should also make her zipper do the same, since the top of it is on the same level as the top of her collar~

Ahh yes, you're right about the zipper o: I thought about that, but for some reason eventually decided against it. I wonder why. I mean, how much more effort would that have been xD Oh whatever. I should try animating something, sooner or later, again! o:

die animation ist in ordnung
(meiner meinung nach sollten mehr frames sein, damit die bewegungen flüssiger sind. Also damit es mehr realistisch wirkt. wenn das nicht deine beabsichtigung war, dann vergess den kommentar

Yeah, it is a little harder to see now that you've shrunk it down. =o But it's noticeable enough that we get the idea, I think. So it still works.
Lol, fair enough. Practice makes perfect, after all, but practicing can be a pain. XD Still, I hope you do make more of these someday, 'cause I like what you've got so far.
