Yui and her guitar!
Once I had this image in my head I had to draw it
Yui is such an inspiring character, and when I feel that I don't make any progress at playing the guitar I just think of Yui - if SHE can play a guitar that I can do that as well!! xDD
I liked the outlines (apart from her hands and the mistakes in the guitar probably noone notices) and when I colored it... well, I like how the face turned out, but... the color palette is an enemy of traditional drawings xD The two types of blue and her guitar's colors just didn't want to look right and I'm not satisfied with the way I shaded it <.<
Furthermore the colors were "too dark" in a way so I added a colorful background that fits Yui's personality to my mind
...Her head and the word "Yui" are my favorite parts in this picture
By the way, the staff (Notensystem) should look the way it does in case someone wanted to criticize that the lines aren't straight enough! >.<

I too am a musician / Nerd-wannabe-drummer, which ever you want to use.
And you gave her that classic "jump up and tuck my legs behind me" kind of pose. I think that those are funny because it goes from that to "...and hope that when I land I don't bust a joint or break my effin guitar."

Especially the shading of her hair and eyes, as well as the rainbow-colored... music... thingy that I can't think of the name of, for some reason...
... I wanna say stanza, but I think that's for something else... XD
And her clothes look really nice! ^^
... Although, I do think that you shaded in her right arm and shoulder a bit too darkly...
(This coming from somebody who knows next to nothing about shading... XD)

... Well, there are still a few mistakes the I spot in it's outline, but, other than that, it looks really awesome!

Ich hab zwar keine Ahnung, wer der Charakter ist, aber ich bin immer wieder von deiner Liebe zum Detail fasziniert. Die einzelnen, hauchdünnen Saiten, die zahlreichen Knöpfe (blergh, spiel kein Gitarre, tut mir leid, falls es da Fachausdrücke gibt), die Spangen im Haar, die Andeutung einer Beuge an den Füßen... und natürlich die Augen o.o

Ich mag den Namen auch -also, wie der so geschrieben ist, in den bunten Farben. Und somit gefällt mir gleich der ganze Hintergrund, mit den Noten und so. Sehr schicker Notenschlüssel ; )
ich kritisiere deine Notenlinien mal nicht - aber die letzte Note würde nie so aussehen

oh eine sehr schöe guitarre XD yui sieht sehr hübsch aus vorallem mag ich die haare und die knie XD naja nicht so gut find ich jetzt die ellenbogen XD aber das ist auch das einzigste das etwas merkwürdig ausshiet XD sonst mag ich es total

looks really gorgeous and cool, everything is spreading the energy and inspiration around the paper, the vibrations of the sound on the notes of the background. Also the guitar is wonderful, even her pose is of a rockstar doing a concert, yeah!.
I hope you will do a drawing of your character playing with "rita", right?
