Sooo, I made these silly chibis on a random whim, because this couple is AMANEzing~ ;DDWhen I showed the crappy sketch to =Amalika though, she decided that it would be a neat idea to try to color them~! oo: Sooo, I ended up making a line art for her ~ And she ended up giving them the most beautiful coloring ever, I swear. ;M;~<3 Look at the detail she put into Mane and Ama's hair~! And the fluffy poofiness of Ama's tail and Mane's chest hair~<3
... I swear the two of us make the most amazing collaboration team ever. XDD Well, then again, she put more effort into it, what with all the coloring ~ I just made the silly sketch and lines. ;u;
Aaanyway~! Ama and Mane. oo: I imagine them arguing about who touched the other one first. XDD When they likey both touched each other at the same time or on accident ~ so they keep touching each other! XDD Pushing, poking, prodding, pulling... This sounds kinky, now that I'm thinking about it. oo: Which fits ~ because they don't realize how in love they are with each other and constantly deny it, at every turn~

=Amalika ~ Coloring Ahh I already really really loved his sketch when he showed me what he did! ;u; Simply AMANEzing *shot for the silly pun* We were talking about him finishing the lines and then me coloring it... and eventually, we really did it! xD His lines are thinner than what I am used to, but it was no problem at all. This picture was a really neat chance to get used to that coloring style I used in that Knuckles picture and see if I can get it working better than that. I started with Amalika and really struggled with her dress at first, but somehow I had the enlightment when coloring Mane's trousers and continued to try a few things out here and there. My favorite parts are Mane's ears, Amalika's hair and her tail. Unfortunately the style is a bit mixed as of now, but I hope to change that in the future and make everything more fluffy, like Ama's tail~
This was definitely a fun collab! I love seeing =ArticaArtes ' stuff being colored ovo Making collabs with him is pretty cool 8D

I'm gonna try myself on a critique here X3 I'll focus on the colouring for you Ama and on the sketch/lineart for Nath ~
First, I like the chibi style that is used here, Mane and Ama look adorable x3 The poses of both are dynamic and show that they are in movement here ^^ Which makes sense since both are fighting and trying to get the other one either close or away from themselves xD The lineart is really clean and has - despite the simplified chibi style - many details that make the picture come to life ^^ the only thing bothering me personally is, that Mane seems to look up to Ama's ears or something... it's kinda unfocused and confusing me xD To make the lineart brown instead of black gives the picture a warm feeling in the end and I like that the eyes don't have the usual Sonic border :3 Really good job here Nath!
Now for the colouring... I think this is the best colouring and most detailed one I ever saw from you Ama! Honestly, when I saw the picture I was really amazed to see such sharp details in the hair and for example on the fluffy tail of Ama X3 The shadow and lights are done with rather blue/yellow colour and I think that makes the picture more realistic ^^ Especially since Ama and Mane have similiar main colours X3
The background is not too catchy but is a nice contrast to the warm colours of the characters and fits well ^^
So all together you both did an amazing job on this drawing, all the little details you both put in show how much effort it was nd it was worth it! More Collabs like these! xD

The coloring you gave to Amalika is the best~<3 Especially her hair and her fluffy tail~! Which I am just in love with and I'm left wondering how you managed to figure out how to do both of these effects so well~! ;u;
As for Mane, I wouldn't say the style of coloring fits his hair as well as it does for Amalika, but I place the blame for this more on the fact that his hairstyle is drawn very differently from the way I drew Ama's. oo: Where hers is "segmented," Mane's is "whole" so to speak... I wonder if you understand what I'm trying to say, because I'm not explaining this very well... :,DD Buuut, yeah, I think my line art detracts from your otherwise awesome coloring job with his hair. ;M;~<3 I'll have to make note of that, for future collaborations.
AAANYWAY ~ I must congratulate you on suddenly becoming an amazing digital artist~<3 ;u; Continue like this, and we're gonna have one amazing looking cast for Reset~<3

I tried so hard to keep her from being shipped with other persons' characters but noooo, you had to change that, didn't you
I really hope I can keep coloring like this as people seem to approve of it and I like it as well >u< Yep, it's mainly the brush tool. Sometimes I also used the water tool, but only very very rarely. And partly the airbrush as well, but also only rarely.
What I'm afrad of is that the way I colored hair here won't fit with how I draw hair myself o.o" It works quite well for Ama due to how you seperated it, but it makes me wonder whether it will look like that all the time... o.o"
Argh stop the comliments for a second, I don't now how to handle so many nice words q__q

Well, if it makes you feel better you can pratice a bit with the tool you feel most comfortable with and then only try other tolls out when you feel like it, but I hink you really do a great job when you color o: You'd easily beat me if you did that more often.
I'll still see about that! But at least I tried sketching her hair like that out by joining your contest o.o

X//DD Actually, I've recently been in the process of just constantly fiddling with the brush tool, until I understand fully how it works ~ buuut, at this point, the Pen tool has been serving me the most comfortably. With bits and touches from the Air Brush, which I'm quite sure I don't use properly, either. XDD Meh, well... MAAAYBE I could beat out your coloring... But, I don't practice doing so at a consistent enough rate to be able to even keep up with you. ;u; Sooo, for now, you're coloring master ~ you should feel honored~<3 ;M;

Urgh so i wrote this really long message and was just finished when things happened and the whole thign disappeared. Strgh + Z couldn#t save it. Now I'm mad but I'll try to type it again.
Soo... no, I'm not mad at Ama x Mane! Even if I tried to be. But to be honest I'm disappointed in what happened to Juni and Cy, even if the focus wasn't on them. I mean Juni is your character and you should ship her however you want, but the way i found out about it felt rather.. mean, to me. What I first saw was this iScribble thing and thought hey, Thunder doesn't really know about Juni or Cy, so this sketch and picture somehow happened. But you surely told him about it, and I trusted in that. Except you didn't. And you didn't tell me that you wanted to stop shipping Juni and Cy either. I think I would have been disappointed if you did, but I wouldn't have any reason to be mad. And it would have been better than suddenly seeing you draw Juni and Ana or whatever that girl is called and just seeing Cyril being mentioned indirectly in a small sentence somewhere. Tossing Cy aside like that honestly made me feel a bit betrayed in a way :/ I'm not asking you to stop shipping Juni and Ana, but I wished I had found out about it differently, because now it makes me wonder if Ama will be tossed aside as well if I miss any iScribble sessions because of exams. So seeing that new ship hoenstly makes me pretty mad and disappointed. D: I worded this better before, that makes me mad as well e__e
There is no wrong way in using tools as long as they fulfill their purpose! And about Ama's hair, I'm not sure which way I prefer now o.o I'll just see what comes more naturally to me next time I draw her ^^

The focus was far more upon Ama and Mane and, at the time, we never really developed anything for Cy and Juni. Meanwhile, over the few iScribble sessions I've had, Thunder and I developed a bit of a relationship between his character and Juni ~ although, originally, I never intended to let that happen, because I wasn't completely sure about Juni and Cyril.
... To be honest, even though I made that decision to ship Juni and Ana, I'm... Still conflicted about that pairing. Maybe it's because I felt guilty about not teling you about it, first... Maybe I just don't care for it as much as I thought I did, I can't really tell. Buuut, somehow, I get the feeling that AnaxJuni might not last forever, after all...

Well, we talked a bit about Juni x Cy (Tomaneoes and Cyrilry in her garden!) but it's true that the focus was more on Ama and Mane. Either way I'm glad we talked about this whole issue already because it made me feel better, soooo Juni is your character and you should do with her what you feel is best!
But I think apart from Ama x Mane I won't ship any other of my characters with another person's characters anymore
