J'arrête pas de faire des gens à poils dans ce calendrier, Cendre est très bien pour continuer ma gruge "si si c'est justifié de pas faire de fringues C'EST MIEUX POUR LA SYMBOLIQUE C'EST BEAU MADAME !"

(Je me suis quand même bousillé les genoux sur mon parquet devant mon miroir pour voir comment cette pose à la con fonctionnait XD Personne sur Deviantart n'a l'air de songer à faire des shoot de gonzesse assise de FACE ! Y a que des sessions de meuf assise en pose "fairy" à la con è0é)

C'est ce que je me disais, j'avais fait un sketch plus agressif à la base avec Faust pour mettre en scène ces histoires de malédictions, mais j'ai eu un peu peur que ce soit OOC au final, je suis revenue sur quelque chose de plus classique. Et d'ultra joyeux et léger pour les fêtes comme on voit XD (Y a pas mal de questions dans les comments d'ailleurs, t'as bien réussie ta mission de planquer cette maladie !)

You don't know Orpheelin's character ? Cendre is not a warrior, she's a healer, and she has an incurable disease (which marks her body). She's searching a cure for her and her people, because they're sick after being banished of their forest, Baahliam You can find more explanations and pictures about Northern story on Orpheelin's deviant !

Now her pose and that glare in her eyes is less the anger of a animal cornered, but that of tragic pride over riding reason. Still unbowed, but now softened by context. A still perfect piece of art, as always. And now I have someone else to watch, thank you

Thank you ! Maybe because we see often her as Faust's lover or a healer, we don't think a lot about her background which is rather sad ! And for being Faust's woman I suppose you need to be strong ! XD

I suppose Orpheelin want to keep this detail of her a little bit secret, for surprise the readers, but it's draw in Northern sketchbook and write in the plot on Northern galery

This part of her personnality is discreet, so I'm curious to read how it will influence her !

It's planned for this year if I remember well, for Japan Expo 2013

Yes, in my mind Cendre is a very positive character, in opposite to Faust and his berserk's curse, and I always draw her like that. But at the end I'm more interested by the contrast of her personnality ! A young woman alone on the roads is obviously a strong character who can defend herself, especially in a medieval world. I'm curious to discover her journey and how she will survive without her family and her people !

Yes me too, so I'm waiting on the comic, I bet there are a lot we don't know about her and even Faust. I'd love to go to Japan Expo, France sure is closer than other countries with major events, but though luck lol I'll wait for the sale announcement.

And my spoken french is non existent LOL I mean, I can still understand some, but I just can't speak to save my life anymore. One a friend of mine and I really want to visit Paris one day, maybe after I get a job and have some money of my own, it's totally in my plans. Japan Expo would be a huge plus One day
