Origin
(---"
An Elohim -mutated form of a blood-drinking insect found within The Forest of the Austro , The Blooddrinker Muuska is a breed of insect normally around the size of a newborn kitten. However, if a Muuska bites and drinks the blood of it's prey, it will slowly grow in size to make more room for it's food as well as change it's shape such as growing longer legs with it's abdomen stretching to sizes that rival a bison to an indian elephant if a single Muuska manages to drink from a creature with a lot of blood in it's body. And usually it's victims end up become dried husks with all their fluids drained from their bodies.

While one method of dealing with a fully engorged Muuska is to try and puncture it's abdomen, though that is difficult as the flesh is both durable and elastic. Another method is to take advantage of one of it's natural weapons. That being spraying blood from it's proboscis at it's predators, which can transmit all manners of diseases to the one being sprayed. Though with this method of attack it drains the blood collected in it's abdomen, resulting in it's shrinkage.

Another dangerous aspect of The Muuska is that it can take the genetic material of Elohim-enriched blood and integrate traits of their prey into themselves such as using a victim's powers for it's own arsenal of defenses. Though thankfully it does digest it's reservoir of blood on it's own, which can result in it being depowered and shrink back to it's original size.

Resourceful Hunters looking for a Muuska can always follow the trail of drained corpses to find one, as it's abdomen is prized for it's elastic qualities when properly cleaned & processed. And while the abdomen is hard to cut with a knife, hunters cut just in front of the abdomen where the exoskeleton is at it's weakest. Killing a fully engorged Muuska, while more dangerous then a pre-fed one, can be a greater prize as it's exoskeleton and other parts that are enriched by the Elohim-tainted blood of it's victims can have unusual properties useful after crafting. However taking a fully engorged Muuska apart has it's own issues such as making sure to not have the blood in the abdomen spray everywhere with a misplaced incision or else the Muuska will shrink back down to size."---)

And another creature to add to the list of Sargasso 's many monsters. I may or may not have been inspired by Skeetera, the giant mutant mosquito from Godzilla the Animated Series when making this creature, though scaled down to just huge instead of freakishly huge when fully fed.

This creature was made using Hero Machine 3.

Glad you like it!
Just imagine seeing this thing instead of the regular mosquitoes. And see it fully engorges with blood and possibly the size of a cow.

Imagine fighting this thing in Monster Hunter World after it fully drains a Deviljho of it's blood.
