Superpowered Heavyworlder Physiology; Training Regimen; Trick Costume; Equipment Proficiency; Ninjitsu, Business, Crime & Intimidation Mastery; Enhanced Throwing; Overwhelming Influence; And a combination of Solid Generation, Weapon Creation & Power Bestowal. What this all means is that Brick Bat has the power to generate Brick-Shaped Solid Objects that are infused with different properties that make the bricks function as a form of Trick Weaponry. These "bricks" can have functions such as bludgeons, poison gas grenades, high explosives, acid bombs, smoke grenades, can turn into a net or bolas for restraining targets, can turn into a form of grapnel gun, molotovs, EMP bombs, stun guns; sticky bombs, caltrops, ice bombs, knock out gas grenades, time bombs and many others.

Brick Bat's costume does contain functions such as his cowl having Night Vision, X-Ray Vision, Scanner Vision and a Gas Mask that also functions as a rebreather apparatus. His costume is bulletproof, fireproof and knifeproof but it has issues with resisting much more powerful things like superstrong punches and attacks that can easily crush a normal, non-powered Kernian human. The gloves and boots of the costume allow Brick Bat to fasten onto and climb vertical and horizontal surfaces without falling i.e. Wallcrawling. And his cape he can use as a weapon as well as a glider for flying around his city.

This is kind of an experimental idea I wanted to try. A villainous Batman that acts like a hero but is in reality a greedy bastard who causes more problems then he actually fixes.

How so? Well his story goes a little something like this:

Mac Brenner was the superpowered son of a pair of billionaires who owned Brenner Incorporated, one of the richest companies on the Planet Kern . Mac was someone who had a life of luxury, never once working an honest days hard work as he lived off of his parents' funds as well as being taught by his father some of the more immoral tricks to improving their business. Plus Mac was what the people of Earth would consider a Champagne Socialist like his parents. People who espouse concepts like workers' rights and equity for all to the average person, but in reality their lavish lifestyles shows that they are just hypocrites that take full advantage of the current system and leaving those less fortunate with nothing but pennies. Even their charity drives that were suppose to try and fund improvements to their city mostly goes into their own pockets and they spent it on much more lavish luxuries. They never cared about actually fixing the problems of their city such as the astronomically high crime rate, a homelessness epidemic and a crap-ton of drugs being sold on the streets. As actually fixing those problems would result in them losing one of their biggest sources of income.

So when his parents died due to a mysterious plane crash, all of their wealth and company assets went to Mac.

Seeing this as a prime oppertunity, Mac decided to take some inspiration from the various superheroes and turn himself into a superhero. He used his vast wealth to hire the greatest teachers and martial artists experts to help train his body to help get him ready for his upcoming career. He even took the time to actually create his own rogue's gallery by either bailing out criminals in the local prison & hiring them. Or hire the poor and destitute that are desperate for help. So either group gets suited up using technology created by Mac's company with some cases actually be granted superpowers due to genetic manipulation. And after Mac beats up these criminals and they are taken to jail, Mac both bails them out of jail and gives them their money as a form of payment for their services. And these fake rogues do get special benefits in this line of work that convinced them to continue working for him even after they get brutalized by Mac when he's in his hero persona as the "hero" known as Brick Bat. Making him look like a hero to everyone not in the know about this grift. And even if one of the "rogues" decides to try and blow the whistle on this scheme, Mac was an expert manipulator and had his fingers in many levels in his city's society like the media and has the newscasters he's paid off to make the stories go in his favor with fake evidence that Mac had nothing to do with the accuser.

And some of the crimes Mac funded have some other functions. Such as when Mac got a criminal in his employ to cause a massive riot in the streets of the city, with rioters being bused in from outside their city and state with the promise that they can cause as much havoc and steal as much as they want without consequences while claiming they're fighting for a good cause. And many of the smaller mom & pop stores getting utterly decimated by rioters with Brick Bat not raising a finger to stop them. And like the bastard he is, Mac told those store owners that they have insurance that will pay for all the damages. Which was a flat-out lie since Mac owns the biggest insurance company in the city and they specifically don't cover damages caused by acts of war, domestic terrorism and riots. So those small businesses end up going bankrupt and forced to close their doors. Which Mac end up buying those abandoned spots for dirt cheap prices and build new businesses in their place that provides more income for his company and his operations.

However, this scheme could not go on forever as two members of Kern's Safeguards of Liberty noticed that things were rather suspicious in Mac's city and they decided to investigate. Those members being the ones known as Nightfall & Dawn. And thanks to their very thorough investigation, they blew the whistle on Brenner Incorporated and all their shady behavior. And since The Midnight Sentinel was a well-respected member of The Safeguards, it was incredibly difficult for Mac to try and spin the story in his favor against someone like Nightfall. Mac became so desperate that he ordered his "rogues" that he'll double their pay if they got rid of the duo before they completely exposed him. But since Nightfall promised them that they will be given leniency and proper aid if they cooperated, the mass majority of the fake rogues quit on the spot and spoke out against Mac's company in a court of law.

Mac's scheme was falling apart at the seams as more and more people spoke out against him, about all of his dirty dealings and how he intentionally created many of the problems he was suppose to fix both for his own benefit and to boost his already inflated ego.

Justice was about to get served against Mac whether he liked it or not. However, Brick bat wouldn't be seeing a day in court as he ended up missing before the police and The Safeguards could put him in prison for his crimes and liquidate all of his assets.

Mac ended up getting taken by a rainbow-colored portal and he was transported to The Super-Sargasso Sea . Specifically in the version of the metropolis of Titan City that had both The Mighty Legion and The Ascended . He no longer has his corporation to help him out and he may've gone a bit insane from the massive amount of stress of everything that happened to him. So he ended up becoming much more of the villain he truely is instead of trying to hide his true nature.
