The Un-Aliver

(---"A strange artifact whose default form is just a billiard-sized sphere made of black metal with green cracks scattered all across it's surface. The bearer of this weapon can transform The Un-Aliver into different forms of weaponry. Those that have been struck by this weapon while it's in a melee-based form (Swords, Spears, Maces, Etc), The Un-Aliver will absorb the life-force of it's target, making the weapon more powerful with every successful strike. This life energy is also used as ammunition for this weapon's ranged forms (Firearms, Bows, Crossbows, Ray Guns, etc). It is unknown if this weapon is either alien, human or demon tech."---)

Would you believe that I was inspired to make this via a comment on youtube? Specifically because Youtube censors certain words so a comment that contains one of the banned words doesn't appear after posting it. And to get around this ban, this commenter called a person in a video a future Mass Un-Aliver. That got me thinking about how that label can be used and that resulted in some inspiration from The Unmaker from Doom 64 / Doom Eternal, the Rodin weapon from the Bayonetta games and Soul Calibur 2's Necrid (specifically his weapon of choice).

If I were to use this weapon in a story, I would have it be a target for The Id of God to try and add it to his arsenal of weapons. Then you could have the protagonists of the story, who know about The Un-Aliver, who want to get the weapon first.

EDIT (4/25/2024): Added a new version of this artifact I made using AI.

And like I did before with other artifacts, I'll leave links to the three lists of artifacts that you can look at. And all of them I put in the public domain for you guys to use under Creative Commons 0 .
