I just feel like $35 should give someone more detailed art. There are more markings you could have captured on the cat's pelt, and more tones that could have appeared. But like I said, it isn't a bad drawing, just not fair for what was payed.

If you were the client, I would add more per request. My friend who commissioned me, Brooke, wanted to help me pay my bills. I do work 50-60 hours a week between two jobs and she merely wanted to give me money and I said no, I will create something for you in return. I don't like to "take" money without giving something back. My friend, Eric, wanted to give me money and I said no and created this art piece for him and called it a commission: amandas-sketches.deviantart.co… . When I asked Brooke and Eric if they were satisfied with the end result, they said yes and done is done. 

I was trying to avoid telling a whole story the first time. Now you know the background. I have friends who wanted to help me. Bless them for being amazing and helping me when they can.
