I really, really, like this shot. This is awesome.
Was it very difficult to get? I'm not a photographer.

Not to terribly hard! It was night when i took it and it's just a marble type object with swirls in it. I was sitting on a black stand but you can't see that because it was night so it looks like it's floating!
thanks so much for the !!

That's a very cool shot. The stark, black background gives it this very abstract and unreal look. It's hard to believe it's a real item and photograph. The colors, clarity, and lighting are fantastic.

Gorgeous photograph. it looks like something is splashing out (drops at the top of the image). The colors are great and make it look mysterious. Very nice capture.

Sweet.
About the only critique I can offer is that (next time) you might want to move the light a little farther away from the egg and expose for a little longer to make up for the lower illumination. This would help you avoid the "blown" highlight visible on the right side of the object...
Otherwise... Very sweet indeed.

HAHA yeah it is nice! ^_^ I waited until it was night time to take it so where the glass was clear it would be a nice contrast of black with the light inside

This is just cool. The way you captured it feels like it's some sort of science experiment or time lapse thing they put on science videos (βcolored for clarityβ. But really it's just this glass egg thing. Well captured

Wow...
Dude, we went to the Bayou City Arts Festival in Memorial Park (downtown) yesterday for a field trip, and there was one person who had lots of eggs like the one we have (but they didn't have a light like ours, but I think our light might be in the base...?) and they were really cool, and lots of different colors!

tecnically if you use it in that context you use the plural huevos

in the context of that guy has balls you say that guy has huevos. huevos still means eggs in the dictionary but is also slang for balls
