I think the best with lighting I've ever done! Just a little side note: I did not do any photoshopping to this. Some people have asked me if I cranked up the colors or added the curly shadow, but really I just took the photo and uploaded!Location: Chicago, Illinois

beautiful photo. just like everyone else said, the lighting is great!
and so is the curly shadow. the colors are beautiful also. the contrast between the greens and the purple is great.
though.. hm.. it may just be me... but it looks a little too sharp in some places.

This is gorgeous; before I even clicked the thumb and saw the title the first word that came to mind was "hiding" lol...this has a great sense of meaning even without the title. The only thing i could think that would make this better is moving your angle down wards towards the petal with the vine shadow as that would enhance the shadows from the inner parts of the flower as well. Still a nice shot though, I really like the "you can't see me" feel this shot has

I like this photo because it is a beautiful flower and it is shot well. my critique is not on this in particular but on the set of works you posted. THey are all good photos but the subjects are nothing new. They are capably done but cant be really interesting photos without more interestingg subjects. Sorry if this come across too harsh as i really like this shot.
