Description I think the best with lighting I've ever done! Just a little side note: I did not do any photoshopping to this. Some people have asked me if I cranked up the colors or added the curly shadow, but really I just took the photo and uploaded!

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Enjoy. (And especially in FULL VIEW!!)

Very nice shot. You had good lighting, and it's hard to get outside sometimes. At a distance I thought it was a painting. Nice close up shot.

Woooow, gorgeous colors!
I like the lighting too.
I ALSO like it that the flower is slightly wilted on the edges, which makes it look real.

OlorinIcanus In reply to ??? [2006-06-10 17:46:41 +0000 UTC]

Very nice work. I love the lighting too and the contrast between the light and shadow. It looks as if the light is coming from the white center of the flower. The contrast between the green and purple is also great; it really brings out the intensity of the purple. I wish though that there wasn't that shadow cast on that petal. Good job.

PS: That's a real flower right? It's cause the edges look a bit artificial. Maybe it's just dusty?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AmandaSupak In reply to OlorinIcanus [2006-06-10 17:53:19 +0000 UTC]

Yes it's a real flower, actually what you are seeing is part of the pedal died so it's kinda gray dead fuzzys
