The rose I recieved at my Gold Award Ceremony. Taken in natural lightAnd let me say, I have this as my desktop and when i turned on my computer today I was shocked how awesome it looked....come on your know you want to try it!

I'd make this as my desktop picture, but my desktop is bigger than your picture. I don't like blurry desktop pictures.

Congratulations on the award. I remember my troop was going towards the goal of getting, unfortunatly I quit girl scouts before I could get it, from what it sounds like though they're still working on getting it. And very nice photo of the rose, I love natural lighting, I usualy try not to use my flash unless I have to.

this is a gorgeous photo. the yellow looks wonderful.
i like how it's a little off centered.
the focus is also very nice. great macro. i like how you can see a little bit of the veins of the flower.

I really like how soft this looks. This shot wouldn't have worked nearly as well with a red or a pink rose, but with the yellow one it's just perfect

Love the intensity of the color again like with your other photographs. You have a knack for colors. The lighting is very well done and brings out the difference between the light and shadow. However, I would prefer that the rose filled the frame more or maybe filled the entire frame but I don't know if the camera could get that close without blurring. Well done.

Yellow roses are my favorite. They are the only roses that a I really like. Roses seem to fancy and ladylike for my taste. I am a bit of a rebel I suppose. I am blabbing, sorry.

Awesome shot! I love the way you composed your shot, with the rose being just too big for the frame and slightly off center. The natural lighting is great at bringing out the colors as well
