Hours later the all clear was given that the monster was gone, and that everyone should get back to work. Though now most of the field lay in ruins, devastated pumpkins lay broken all over. There were now furrows in the earth as if something had either been slammed into it or dropped and deep claw marks in the earth. Whatever had happened had been violent. Anri and the kids ventured back out to the field they had been in when the monster had shown up. The place was a mess.
"Well children, looks like we're to try to find any pumpkins still intact and get them to the wagons, and maybe try to clean up some of the mess." She sighed. She knew it was bad, but hadn't expected it was this bad.
Slade saw something white and out of place among the smashed pumpkins and wandered over to see what it was. And found a white feather with a red tip. Did it belong to the huge white Stryx that had passed over them just when the monster showed up?......

Yeah, I wonder what happened too?
