See, that's the thing. You don't have to get rid of the tape. For the one with the tape, use this frame but just get rid of the little black corner-holders.
Or you can scratch the tape altogether. But I liked the tape.

...assuming that my father doesn't hate me after Thursday (Kyle and a friend of his are coming over; it ought to be interesting), I'm sure he'll let us borrow the guitar, though it might be a task getting him to let us borrow the truck. He'd definately let us use it if he were driving, though, so as long as you don't mind him tagging along, we can definately use it.
And my father might even have a cowboy hat...somewhere...if not I'm sure we can find one somewhere. It's not like they're a rare thing. Call me tonight (I should be home by seven) and remind me to ask him. I'll write a note to myself, too, but I'm known to overlook things like notes...heh.
...oh, yeah, if you didn't already assume from my previous answers, I'd love to help you out on Friday. Haha. Just as long as I'm home by 5 or so, since I've got class at 6...gah, kill me.

nah--he can tag along all he wants. it'll be like twenty minutes, and i want to do it in front of the big white church, so tha it's one big long picture with two parts--the left will be the older, aged picture, and there'll be a tear with some cracks, and the right (lining up with the left) will be the newer one. sound decent?
so friday will be good then. after i come back from class, we can pointlessly hang out? and then RHHS, and then this, and then we'll shove off and rock out sunday some more?

boo :[ no--i told you i was going camping? well, camping changed into new york because we're all hippies (and by "we" i mean "they") who don't plan things and can't get funding. if it were a really good faire i might blow off the sculpture park, but i went last weekend and it was mediocre, of course.
but, there are some tickets online if you google hebron. i'm not sure what site, but my father found some five-dollar-off ones that you guys could use. there's also a discount for college students that's probably like three bucks or something. i figured i'd let you know and save you some cash...

Especially when you compare/contrast it with the original, since the original is so sharp and crisp and colourful...
The only gripe I have with the one is the bevel between the image and the whiteish boarder. I believe the effect you're looking for is just the boarder that using an easle would leave...and if that's the effect you want, why the hell do you have a bevel?
But beyond that, I like the way you handled the background/boarders on this one much better than the unicorn one - it keeps the image from floating helplessly in negative space and anchors your eye down to where your eye is supposed to be looking - at the picture, not the confusion of pristine white nothingness around the aged-looking photo.
