I'm totally having "morning after" thoughts. -_____- He totally wants us to create actual art, and I was just like "um... moustache!" and CLEARLY not listening to a word he said. Mmmm... I get to be the frying pan on Tuesday.

...or you can be really suave and make up some deep story behind the moustache. Talk about how the picture DOES have real significane and meaning and is thus "real" art because the very night of the Frenchman moustache was one of the last nights that you ever spoke to a close friend of yours, and the moustache was a running joke throughtout the entire evening, then through some odd workings of the universe, months later, the moustache came into relevance again, and it always makes you think back...blah blah bullshit bullshit blahdy blah.

...ahem. I am very good at creating symbolism out of nothing. Probably because I think it's fucking retarded and that art that can't stand by itself is fucking annoying and stupid and like an inside joke. BUT, most people think that weird abstract symbolim is what makes a piece (whatever it may be) art. So usually if you can think of some sort of BS "deeper meaning" you can avoid looking like a frying pan.

Then again, I've never been in a college art class and I don't really know how they run, so it may be different there, but if you're asked for artistic reasoning or whatever, being a symbolism-bullshitter is always a nice fallback.
