i guess the movement came through? (i wanted it to look like i was progressing foward between the two) and the colour of the grass didn't look fake, which was good.

i wish you were in the class with me. you would like it--the professor attacks me and forces me to defend my decisions, which is actually helping me. it's not like guze and schnyder who were like "relax! it looks fine!" it's more like "i agree. it sucks. so why did you do that?" and i have to defend myself and it's awesooooome.

although as a whole, i don't think the assignment came out that great .___. meepxcore

I don't know if I'm really feeling the movement, cos' I hadn't noticed anything about forward movement until you said it...maybe another frame would have helped convey that, or maybe if the two pictures had been from different distances...I don't know.

And look at it this way; there's very little chance that your next assignment can come out less satisfactory than this one, right? Because self-portraits are obviously not your forte.
I would like to see the entire collection, though. Just so you know.

and yeah--i'm not too worried about the next assignment, although odds are i'll be dragging you around for that one too. art + english = quality bonding time.
