"Hell is other people"
I think this might be proof enough for that.

Haha--have you taken philosophy with Doug Russell yet? Because that class is the embodiment of 'hell is other people'. You don't even know...

not yet, I just have a passion for philosophy and theology. (Im trying to come up with a lol-response for your lolNietzsche but I haven't brainstormed anything quite clever enough just yet)

:] I'll be looking forward to it. I'm thinking about lolLocke, but I haven't really had time to kill making lolPhilosophers this week, haha

:] I like you.

lolLocke sounds pretty solid to me. I actually carved "Locke Rules!" into Doug's pencil sharpener a couple of days after he complained that there's not enough intellectual vandalism in public schools, haha

Whilest I appreciate both the compliment and the humor of your actions I am unawares to the identity of this Doug, so I may not appreciate the full scope of the comment.

(I'm in a hyper formal mood today)

Doug Russell :] Whenever he tells a story, he refers to himself in third person as 'Doug', so Erin Pronicki and myself started calling him that. Because really? He's not a 'Mr.' anything. He's just Doug.

But seriously--take that class. He's a frickin' riot...

(Hyper formal indeed.)

Ah Mr. Russell, I have two classes with him, Psychology and To be Human he never refers to himself as Doug though, and yes he is quite the riot.

Really? Damn... maybe that was just around Erin and Me then.

Either way :] Totally adored all of the classes I took with him!

speaking of old times what are you doing now? (Job/school wise)

My present state could be summed up with the word 'chaos.' I'm doing a double major at CCSU for fine art and English, and going nuts to (a) get all of the classes I need for two degrees, (b) keep my GPA astronomical so I can get into grad school and (c) do a bunch of after-school clubs.

As for work, I'm officially employed at the Music Score (right down the street from RHHS), working as a freelance reporter for The Chronicle (Chromwell / Middletown), running my own company (Bag O' Bones Entertainment) which will be an LLC as of next week. Bag O' Bones puts on psychobilly / punk shows in MA, and we're filming a movie this summer. I'm looking to get an internship for an illustration company this summer, on top of all that, which is super exciting for me. The pay is great and the experience is extraordinary.

What about you? How's school going, searching for colleges, work, etc?

I honestly don't know what to say. I have typed up at least nine different messages and deleted them all because none of them sounded right. I am doing nothing really, I haven't drawn anything in months, I haven't written anything in months. I have no real motivation to do anything. School is mediocre I don't even know how to look for colleges and I am not old enough to work at any of the jobs I think I'd be able to stand doing part time.
I feel as though everyone expects me to know what to do when I really have no idea how to do anything, I have this image of being some kind genius just forced on me day after day and I really can't live up to it.
On a happier note I just started trying my hand at playing Bass and that's kept me out of a stupor.

Word up--that's how the first seventeen years of my life went. Even now, I haven't done any work of my own in months, except for two pieces on Friday. Most of what I do involves school and, although it's what I like doing, isn't as fulfilling as I'd like it to be. Don't worry about park time jobs though--they all suck except for a couple of them. Don't get stuck in one you hate though, it's the worst thing in the world. When I was working at Big Y I was in a foul mood every day, and pretty much just wanted to die while I was there. The bass is rad; I used to play guitar, bass, and ukulele, but gave it all up for art and writing. Music is great though, it really saved me for a couple of those mediocre high school years.

But yeah. I get what you mean when you say that you're not doing anything. Because no matter how little sleep I get and what my resume says, I'm really not doing much of anything. I'm just running in circles.
