Kassidian balanced in her stirrups, patted Ishkara’s plated hide, and then turned the silura towards the cave. They had made it over the first few barriers alright though at the end of the pack for the race. However, Kassidian had found that riding Ishkara was like getting on a freight train - she may be slow to start but she built a thundering speed. So, it was not long before they had infiltrated the rear pack of runners when they entered the cave.

Though Kassidian was not expecting a win she did expect to see their work pay off. Ishkara was smart, but she was lazy, prefering to push past barriers to follow her own agenda. So far the Sava’aggan was responding well so far and, when they inched past the mountain cat and arched under the waterfall, Ishkara perked up further.

Will there be more water?

Kassidian laughed.
