Defense Quest for Otzahirr, rune marks for Daphne, and Scavenging Quest for reepuls.

They make it to the land and through the storm, but Otzahirr does not recognize this place. The way Daphne looks around and tilts her head, neither does she. Where else can they go? Daphne steps forward and wades into a wheat field. This is familiar, this golden smell, the scratchy sounds of the stalks rubbing against each other. Everything seems fine, but then the smells it. Something strange.

A shadow passes over the ruks and they look up.

Did you see it?

What do you think it was? Raptor?

No.

The shadow was too big for that. He knows raptor shadows, and no eagle or vulture he ever aw grew that big-

A wooshing sound comes from behind Daphne and she whirls.

The wheat tips dance around them.

Something is zipping by under the stalks!

Daphne has become so attuned to Otzahirr's movements that she jumps out of the way automatically when he lowers his head. It is just in time as something long, furred, and blue leaps clear of the field at them! Otzahirr keeps his eyes trained on it, moving to track it. Meanwhile, Daphne stumbles out of the way, but she thinks she sees something else long and orange watching them from below...

Bubbling Sunlight snakes low to the ground, wondering what these creatures are. This was supposed to be a quick scavenging trip, and while he and Sky full of Stars often find something interesting, nothing quite like these creatures have visited their area. They are deer but do not quite look like deer. Sky Full of Stars, impatient, leaps up over the wheat again. She soared over them before unseen and intends to do it again.

This time, she is seen.
