Description
EDIT: changed the lighting, color, and sig visibility. /EDITA friend of mine gave me an art book and I was inspired to do this picture for my in progress novel The Green Book. This is the main character in a scene that may or may not appear in the novel. I'm not sure yet.

I think you did a great job melding traditional and digital to create the lighting effect, and I like the wall murals, though I wonder what's so surprising or horrifying to discover. Hmm

You got it! That's pretty much exactly what she's thinking in that scene in the book! Goodness I wish I had more of it written so you guys could see the story extended from the illustrations

I can't take my eyes of her clothes... they're so awesome in detail... I love. And the sepia colored picture in overall makes it look like a forgotten piece of artifact.

I actually don't celebrate Christmas because I'm not a Christian. But I studied in the US for a bit, so I understand the festivities and cultural significance (well, it's also internationally known - so that's no wonder).
And thanks for asking about my stories.. they are slow, but I guess that circles back to me being a busy working adult

WHOa...I absolutely love the detail in this drawing <3 The cave drawings are so dynamic and action packed they almost come alive. I really like the lighting coming from the fire- gives it that whole adventuring feel to it and the folds for her robe <3 luv it
