And I find myself curious -
Are his eyes as honest as his lips?
His cheeks glow with life
Do his eyes burn the same?
They're just out of reach
Masked by hair and glass
Too high to determine any specific shade

I'd like to know the world from his height
And how I might appear in his eyes
When he catches my startled stare
I feel stricken and every time look away
To him, what does this mean?

Probably nothing
Just another passing moment
Lost to the rush of the life surrounding
As he walks past, his face hidden
Mine overly-exposed
