Thoughts and moods while creating this improvisation:

I consciously intended to connect personally with this image, not a self-portrait but more self involved in my subject than i usually allow myself.
The bursting butterfly, can be positive or negative, but the emotion is passionate. Like an internal warm shower or a hug in a sauna. Bursting a boil or a pimple? Strangely excited though it's disgusting and going to hurt.

I feel this way often. It really doesn't have words; that's why I drew it.

One of my favorites. Some day I think I'd like it on my thigh.
