Dick Blick cold press 140lb watercolor paper 12x16, 11x14 composition. Daniel Smith and Japanese watercolors.
This started out as more of a study, but I tried to finish it. I'm getting back into doing portraiture now that I've learned a lot of new techniques from the wonderful artists posting videos on YouTube, like Yong Chen and Maria Raczynska.
The mother of the child cried a little when I gave her the original because she liked it so much. It was a little embarrassing, but very nice.
